Last night we played poker at Eric's. In attendance were Eric, Yossi, Jonah, Nik and Rafi. We ate chicken and chips. There was no shortage of sweet 'n sour Doritos whatsoever. Well done Eric.
The main talking point of the evening has to be Nik's stupendous performance. Not only did he break the "100 shekel up" mark for the first time since records began, but he also finished the evening as the only player to have made any money, a feat he previously accomplished a while ago. This kind of success testifies to Nik's cool head under pressure, his ability to read his opponents, and his uncanny understanding of the rules of Omaha Hi-Lo. Oh, and his really excellent cards (4 kings, anyone?). In recognition of Nik's most admirable showing last night, the other players rose to their feet at the end of the evening to applaud one of the game's modern greats.

I think that any readers of this blog who did not attend last night's game will have no doubt that that did NOT happen...
I think Gary's uncanny consistency should also be lauded. His line barely ever wavers.
hee hee.
Can we get someone else to write the blog - I get a feeling of bias this week
